THE MAKING OF THE BATCH LOGO

by IT-Geeks

Batch was built on the promise of new discoveries and brand experiences. Whether it’s finding a must-have product you’ve seen only online, a piece of furniture you have to own, or a community of people who share the same design aesthetic, our mission was to create an experience that keeps you intrigued and coming back. We wanted our logo - as the symbol of our brand - to represent and tell our story.

We created a logo that mirrored the idea of discovering hidden pieces. The peekaboo letterforms are nuanced and unembellished, allowing us to showcase our brand alongside a variety of other brands, designs and images throughout the store.

To further bring our logo to life, we wanted to create something beautiful and organic. With wood planter boxes, faux-succulents and moss, we fashioned our own logo signage for the showroom.

The project was easy and gratifying! In a few short steps, you can create your own personalized planter for your office, room or backyard! Let’s get started…

What You Need:

  • Wood Letter-Shaped Planter Box

  • Spray Paint

  • Faux Succulents

  • Hot Glue Gun

Step 1: Buy Your Wood Letter-Shaped Planter Box

Head on over to your local craft store and pick up your letter-shaped wood planter box. If you can’t find anything at your local craft store, you can always purchase a custom-wood planter box on Etsy from Out of the Box Custom Woods Designs.

Step 2: Choose Your Spray Paint

While you’re at the craft store, don’t forget to buy spray paint in the color of your choice. Remember, you want this box to representative of you, so pick your favorite color. When you’re finished spray painting your box, let it dry overnight.

Step 3: Planting Your Faux Succulents and Moss

Once your box is dry, you're ready to start playing with your succulents! You can buy your plants and any other decorative material from a craft store, Etsy or Amazon.

Place your moss and succulents in your box and play around with the design and how you want everything placed before gluing it down. Once you’re happy with the look, use a hot glue gun to keep everything in place.

Step 4: Showcase Your Masterpiece

You’re finally done with your project and that means it’s time to show it off to friends, family and co-workers. So find the perfect spot in your office or home and share your pictures with us social media using #batchstyle.

This project brought our vision for Batch to life, and we can’t wait for you to see it in-person! Come visit us in-store Monday-Friday from 11am-7pm or Saturday 11am-5pm. Be sure to also sign up for our emails to be in the know on future events where you can create your own masterpieces.
