San Francisco is our home. Batch is located in one of the city's most lively neighborhoods, Russian Hill. This part of the city is best known for Lombard Street and the cable car line that runs along the cutest shops, restaurants and cafés. There's so much to do in Russian Hill, that we captured some of our must see places on the blog!

Where to shop.

San Francisco has a fabulous shopping scene – from independent boutiques, hyper local shops, and designer showrooms – this city has it all.

• Azalea – Find the trendiest San Francisco fashion at this popular cult boutique.

• Flora Grubb – Grab an espresso and walk around this open-air garden to browse their wide assortment of plants and decor.

• b8ta – There's no store more relatable to San Francisco than b8ta – a place to discover and test out the latest tech products you can't find in store anywhere else.

• Unionmade – Visit this all American made men's boutique for the best in clothing, accessories, and apothecary products.

• City Lights – Browse through a variety of world literature, arts, and progressive politics books at this official historic landmark.

Where to go.

San Francisco is home to some world famous attractions – Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Painted Ladies, Coit Tower, Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf. While those sights are worth seeing, we encourage travelers to experience this city like a local.

Some of our favorite places to go are Twin Peaks for a top of the world view look at the city, or Vista Point to get a glimpse of the beautiful skyline. We also love sitting at Dolores Park or Crissy Field for a relaxing afternoon people watching to understand the eccentricities of the city.

If you're looking for something a little more relaxing, head over to the Palace of Fine Arts for a quiet stroll, or hike Lands End or Marin Headlands.

There's also nothing better than taking a stroll to a local farmers market and fill up on local snacks! Our favorites are the Fort Mason and Embarcadero Center farmers markets.

Where to eat and drink.

The culinary scene in San Francisco is definitely one to write home about. With so many Instagram worthy cafés, Michelin Star restaurants and world renowned chefs around the city, it can be hard to pick which one to go to!

Here are some of our all time favorites:

• Dumpling Time – Grab some dinner at Dumpling Time, but be sure to get there early to avoid the long lines.

• Garden Creamery – Indulge your sweet tooth with an excellent non-dairy sorbet.

• Cafe Reveille – Have an Instagram worthy brunch at Cafe Reveille, located on the southeast side of the city.

• Dandelion Chocolate – A place visited for a delicious and decadent experience.

• Boba Guys – Enjoy a refreshing milk boba tea after exploring the city.
