BAY AREA FALL CHECKLIST

by IT-Geeks

Tis the season of cozy sweaters and pumpkin spiced everything!

With autumn finally upon us, it’s time to fill your calendar with all the seasonal festivals and festivities that happen around the Bay Area. To make it easy for you to fill our social schedule, we rounded up some of our favorite fall activities to take part in.

Happy Fall!

Watch a film at Dolores Park

Plan a fun and light hearted date with friends or a special someone with film night at the park!

Learn to be a boss

Feel empowered and inspired by female leaders from a variety of industries by attending #bosstalk at Batch! The night is filled with women sharing their personal journey in succeeding in business and finding balance and empowerment in today’s world.

Go to free concerts

There’s no better way to kick off the new season than to have a picnic at the park during one of the largest free concerts that happens in San Francisco – Hardly Strictly Bluegrass! (October 5 - 7)

Have pumpkin ice cream

Replace your pumpkin spiced latte with a pumpkin ice cream cone from Mitchell’s Ice Cream.

Dance the weekend away

Get a group of friends together and head over to the Treasure Island Music Festival for a weekend of dancing to great tunes and eating amazing food (October 13 - 14)

Watch the Blue Angels

Find a friend with a great roof in San Francisco and watch the Blue Angels perform at Fleet Week (October 1 - 8)

Have a slice of pie

Is it even fall if you don’t indulge in mouth watering pie? Chile Pies Baking Co serves the best seasonal pies in the city – from apple chai to mexican chocolate mixed nut and a classic apple pie.

Pick pumpkins at a pumpkin patch

Whether you’re a child or an adult, going to a pumpkin patch is a must. We love getting out of the city and taking a day trip to Arata’s Pumpkin Farm and Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay.

Drink German beer

Oktoberfest is right around the corner! Head over to Schroeder’s in October for hot brats, cold beer, and non-stop music and dancing.
