Batch recently completed our largest installation to date at 188 West St. James, located in up-and-coming downtown San Jose. The two-building community emanates luxury in a fresh, urban package while remaining connected to its old-town roots. Slated to begin sales in the first quarter of 2020, 188 West St. James will begin scheduling appointments for interested buyers in late Fall 2019.

Have a sneak peek at 188 West St. James:

For the commuter, a stylish studio is just the ticket. We created a neutral home using brown tones and warm woods. The large area rug defines the living space anchored with generous seating and minimal glass-top coffee tables. The highly functional space provides plenty of room for living, sleeping, and even entertaining.

An open kitchen features stainless steel appliances, which create clean lines within the unit. A high-top dining table leaves room for cooking and doubles as an additional workspace when not being used for meals. A fully functional desk tucked into the corner maximizes space with additional shelving and an appropriately sized office chair. Station yourself here to catch up on the morning news, enjoy a FaceTime with a friend, or curate for your growing cookbook collection!

The sleeping area features a queen bed outfitted with organic cotton bed linens from Coyuchi. We added leaf-shaped side tables from Apt2B to add an elegant contrast to the studio’s otherwise functional style.

A generously scaled bathroom greets you just inside the entryway, which features a large shower and spacious sink area. California-inspired art and accessories adorn the walls. Wake up with a sunrise print from Uprise Art and a metal mobile from Oakland-based Electric Sun Creatives.

This studio has everything you need for your life in San Jose. Spacious, smartly placed pieces allowed us to transform this space into a place you’d be happy to call home.
